If you do have a main character that has done quests in Argus before, you can mail any Unsullied gear pieces you might have to help your alt out, although this is not mandatory. However, once your Researcher is unlocked, research continues on even while you're offline, as long as you send them out!Īfter starting the Order Hall Research progression, make sure you don't miss out on any emissaries. You need to do this in order to be able to equip 2 legendaries, and it does take a few days to complete. This includes a short quest chain that involves sending out your followers and unlock your Order Hall researcher. Overall, legendaries aren't as big as they used to be for the Artifact Challenges, so you don't need to stress too much about which legendary you get first.Īfter unlocking World Quests, you will want to make sure you have begun progressing your Order Hall Research. A fresh 110 will have an increased drop chance for their first 2 legendaries on each specialization. Emissaries are a great way to build your Bad Luck Protection and earn your legendaries.
Make sure to do whichever Emissary will expire first, at least. You will receive this version as soon as you hit 110, and all you will need to do is go to Khadgar and turn this quest in to unlock World Quests. Those are the Court of Farondis, Dreamweavers, Highmountain Tribe, Valarjar and The Nightfallen. If this is your first time hitting 110, you need to talk to Archmage Khadgar in Dalaran and accept the quest Uniting the Isles, which requires you to obtain a Friendly reputation with all the Legion factions. People also further challenge themselves with attempting their Artifact Challenges with their Allied Race characters that were recently leveled up! This guide is also a great place to start for new or returning players to get caught up as quickly as possible. These challenges can be fun, long-term goals to set for your alts. Blizzard has announced that these Artifact Appearances will be unobtainable come Battle For Azeroth, so many completionist players are looking to obtain as many appearances as possible before they're gone for good! One of the things many players are finding themselves doing while they wait for Battle For Azeroth is to obtain some (or all!) of the Mage Tower's Artifact Appearances for their alternate characters.
Why would I want to do the Artifact Challenges? Did you know you can fully gear up a fresh level 110 character and get it ready for the mage tower in less than a week? The best part of it is you can get your character ready with little or no organized group content, so this can be a fun thing to do completely solo while you are waiting for raid lockouts to reset, or while you wait for your arena team or Mythic+ squad to log on! In this guide I will go over the steps to fully gear up and prepare a character for the Mage Tower's Artifact Challenge as quickly as possible.
